Return Policy for New, Unopened, Unused Products Customer satisfaction is a priority at HardwareFromHome.com. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we will gladly issue a refund within 14 days of purchase. Items must be new; unused and in original, complete packaging. Refunds will be for the cost of the item, minus a 10% restocking fee. The original shipping charge will not be refunded. The cost of shipping the item back to us is the responsibility of the customer.

To get a refund started, please e-mail returns@hardwarefromhome.com for a return authorization number and return instructions. The return authorization number is required. Please follow the return instructions in the e-mail for prompt service. Please allow four weeks for the refund to be completed. This includes shipping and processing time.

Exchange Policy for Wrong Item Shipped

If HardwareFromHome.com accidently sends you the wrong item, we will exchange the item free of charge, including all shipping costs associated with the return. Please e-mail exchange@hardwarefromhome.com for an exchange authorization number and shipping information. All items must be in new condition.

Damaged Items: Please inspect your package upon delivery. If it is damaged in any way, please e-mail us at damaged@hardwarefromhome.com within 5 days of receipt. HardwareFromHome.com will initiate a claim with the shipping company. HardwareFromHome.com will replace the item at no charge to you including free shipping.

Product Failure: All warranty claims must be filed with the manufacture of the product. All products sold by HardwareFromHome.com come with a manufacturer’s warranty. To make sure your product is protected by the warranty, you must complete the warranty information documents contained in the packaging and return these documents to the appropriate address. If no warranty information is contained within the packaging, make sure you record the manufacturer’s warranty service center information displayed on the packaging. HardwareFromHome.com does not provide any warranty, either express or implied, beyond the warranty of the manufacturer of the product.
